UK construction learners will receive a new site skills card. The card will be administered by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, (CSCS), and will help Trainees move from the classroom to the workplace through programs like the Traineeship Skills Development Programme and T Level qualifications. The card will facilitate the learner’s access onto site and the development of practical and technical skills. As a starting point, the following schemes will be eligible: CSCS, Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS), Engineering Services SKILLcard and JIB Plumbing Mechanical Engineering Services (JIB PMES).
