Manchester Hospital will be one of first to benefit from the UK Government’s £3.7bn Health Infrastructure Plan which will see the delivery of 40 new hospitals by 2030. Morgan Sindall, a developer, will complete the £25m enabling works project, a first step towards the rebuilding of the General Hospital, located in Crumpsall. The works include asbestos removal, clinical refurbishment works, temporary car parking, demolition and a multi-storey car park and cycle hub.
