Premier Inn targets 2,500 hotel rooms in Dublin

Premier Inn, owned by Whitbread, is aiming to achieve 2,500 bedrooms in Dublin via five new hotels, three of which are already under construction.  It hopes to open 97 bedrooms on South Great George’s street in the 4^th quarter of 2021; 113 bedrooms on Gloucester street in 2022; and 151 bedrooms in Newmarket in 2023.  The remaining two locations are a 262 bedroom site in the docklands and a 206 bedrooms building on Jervis Street.  It is believed that Glenveagh, a developer, will construct the former. 

The company is also aiming to open 187 bedrooms on Morrison Quay in Cork.
