Lidl has applied for planning permission for an expansion of its existing store at the junction of Dromore Road and James Street in Omagh. If successful, the project will see the demolition of a pub and a private dwelling so as to double the floor space to 2,205 square metres. The £4m investment will create 200 construction jobs and 15 retail jobs.
