BAM, the developer responsible for the £250m Manchester Arena construction, has subcontracted £150m of the work-packages after completing enabling works. Provectus will take care of the bulk excavation and remediation work, Severfield the steelwork, SES the mechanical and electrical works, SES the building services programme and Prater the façade and roof. Several other firms will implement the hoardings, grouting, lifts, concrete as well as welfare, catering, and security.
