The City of London Corporation has announced that six new skyscrapers may be built in the eastern corner of London’s Square Mile, known as the “City Cluster” area, thus closing the gap between the ‘Walkie-Talkie’ and the main group of towers. It has also stated that negotiations for a further 75m plus projects have begun.
The six that would be built in the next 5 to 6 years include: 2-3 Finsbury Avenue, 55 Gracechurch Street, 60 Aldgate High Street, 70 Gracechurch Street, and 50 Fenchurch Street.
