Willmott Dixon to build a 1,200-pupil secondary school in Oldham

3 D Personnel

Plans have been submitted to the Oldham local council for the construction of a 1,200-pupil secondary school on the old Sainsbury site on Booth street in the town centre.  Willmott Dixon has been shortlisted to manage the construction, if planning permission is granted.  The plans for the open brick-clad four-storey were designed by FaulknerBrowns, an architect.

The hopes are that the school would open its doors to its first students in March 2023.
