The GAA has been given planning permission by An Bord Pleanala for a 200 bedroom hotel on the grounds of Clonliffe College near Croke Park in Dublin. There had been objections regarding the height of the hotel. However, the board decided that the scheme would not have a serious negative impact on the amenities of the area or on the properties located close by.
A start date has yet to be announced.
