Lidl plans to build new €10m store in Co. Westmeath

Lidl have announced that they will lodge a planning application to build a new €10m store in Co. Westmeath, creating 80 construction jobs and 10 full operation jobs.  The new store would replace the current one.  An Bord Planeala have recently turned down planning permission for a second store on the old Galway Road.  However, it is believed that Lidl is reviewing its application.
