Coláiste Éamann Rís, one of Cork’s oldest schools has received funding for a €5m extension from the Department of Education. The new facilities will include a technical graphics room, a second home economics room, a music room, two new science rooms, a textiles room, a design, construction and graphics room, a second construction studies room and four special education needs (SEN) suites, which include meeting rooms, social spaces and sensory rooms, toilet and shower areas and classrooms.
A start date has not as yet been announced.
