Godwin Developments, a developer, has lodged a planning application for 690 new student bedrooms in Nottingham. The proposal is to demolish the former Royal Mail sorting office on the Cowan Street and Bath Street intersection. RG&P, an architect, designed the 12 to 15 story blocks which would comprise disabled studio rooms, four, five and six-bedroom clusters and studio flats. Two ground-floor commercial units, a games room, a gym and study rooms would also be included.
We await further developments.
