UK Government puts £1.5bn worth of construction work up

The UK Government, via the Crown Commercial Service, has put £1.5bn worth of construction work up for tender. The so-called Construction Framework will be invested across fire and rescue services, local authorities, healthcare, police, housing associations, central governments departments and UK public sector bodies.

The Framework will be divided amongst 6 different lots, as follows:

High Rise – 10 places – £52M

International – 6 places – £300M

Environmental and Sustainability Technical Services – 8 places – £75M

Defence – 10 places – £345M

Urban Regeneration – 10 places – £150M

Built Environment and General Infrastructure – 12 places – total spend £577M

Tenders are open until the 20^th of April 2021.
