Ossian Holdings have received planning permission for 2,500 new office spaces on Grosvenor Road, Belfast. The project, known as ‘One Grosvenor Gate’ will comprise 21,000 square meters over 14 floors and will create 100 construction jobs. A key feature of the project is its location beside the new Belfast Transport Hub at Weavers Cross. So staff can easily commute to work via public transport and avoid wasting time sitting in uncomfortable traffic jams, while at the same time know that they are contributing to carbon emissions reduction.
The design of One Grosvenor Gate will further enhance its sustainability via reduced energy demand using natural ventilation and on-site low and zero carbon technologies such as photovoltaic panels. The ground level will have secure cycle storage as well as shower cubicles and associated cycling facilities. Natural light will be provided on all floors through specially designed glass on all four elevations.
