Giant's Park Belfast Ltd has lodged a proposal of application notice for a £180m Leisure Hub and Theme Park for consideration by Belfast City Council. The initial budget was £93m but have since been revised. The Park would be located on 250 acres at Giant’s Park.
A public consultation will take place via a series of online webinars in the coming months with a view to submitting a full planning application during 2021. The plans are divided in three stages and include fast food outlets, a petrol station and a hotel in the first stage; the theme park and an equestrian centre in the second stage; and 37,000 m2 of business space for research and development in the third stage.
