Kilkenny County Council has granted planning permission to State Street, a global banking giant, for the construction of 6,100 square meters of office space in Kilkenny City. The expansion will see a four story office being built in the IDA Business and Technology Park. The plans also include a 229 m2 plant room, 406 new car park spaces, new entrances from the current IDA Business and Technology Park road network, circulation routes and pathways, cycle parking, landscaping and other services.
State Street is an employer of approximately 2,500 in sites in Naas, Drogheda, Dublin and Kilkenny.
