Our client based in Inishowen is product and tech-focused, operating multiple brands (online and retail) in their market of operation and because of growth and due to their continued increased and busy work load they now have a vacancy for A JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT/FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR/BOOKKEEPER  to join the team. You will be part of a small team in a growing multi-site environment with the experience, security and leadership of an established business that has been in operation for over 40 years.


  • You will have the opportunity to create and reshape accounting and control processes in a highly fast-paced and growing business.
  • You will be working on a new line of business within a well-established business.
  • The role will involve great responsibility from day 1 and an opportunity to see the immediate impact of your actions on the development of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & review of year-end financial statements.
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Credit control
  • Bank and Payment Provider Reconciliations
  • Data entry on Accounts packages
  • Payroll processing
  • Cost Analysis
  • VAT
  • Weekly and monthly planning & reports
  • Office Administration

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, working effectively as part of a team to drive projects and deliverables.

  • Ability to communicate information and concepts clearly and logically, setting time specific and achievable expectations.

Important notes:

  • This is a hand on role.
  • This role is for someone proactively looking to optimise the improving finance function.

Additional info

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

Permanent Role;

This is a full-time office-based role but hybrid applications may be considered.

Salary Neg. Depending on Experience circa €35k
