With an excellent tradition of building quality homes this residential developer has a strong landbank with plans to increase its turnover. This role will be delivering the handover of a select site of multi million pound Timber Frame standalone houses. There is also a small development of Housing Association units which are at 1st fix stage.
Day to day programme monitoring and effective trade management to help create a zero snagging list and get properties ready for CML’s. The role will be for around 4 weeks on a temporary basis but there could be an option to move into a Temp-To-perm position for the right candidate.
Key experiences you should have as Finishing Foreperson
✔ Solid work history of delivering the construction of residential schemes for developers
✔ Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team
✔ Developing knowledge of the housebuilding construction process
✔ Be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects
✔ Great customer service skills and the ability to deliver on new homeowners’ expectations
Overview of the Finishing Foreperson role
With the site at snagging stage the ideal candidate will have exposure and experience of working on timber frame developments at finishing/snagging stage
Your key duties as Finishing Foreperson
✔ Work within a site that is producing high end timber frame build properties
✔ Ensuring quality and working towards NHBC standards
✔ Monitor and control on material levels
✔ Co-ordinate labour and trades
✔ Monitor and support the site build programme
✔ Benefit from a proactive site team who will actively support your career advancement
✔ Work closely with the site manager to deliver excellent zero defects
