Inishowen based firm /Ireland wide work
Our Donegal based client has undergone steady growth in recent years given that they provide to an impressive customer base across Donegal, Ulster, Ireland and into the UK.
From their premises in North Donegal, they provide commercial and residential window and door solutions to clients far and wide.
Having doubled their workforce in the last few years, they continue to grow and as a result of that growth we have been tasked with assisting them recruit more team members.
Job profile:
Install new or replacement windows and doors in residential and commercial premises.
Removing old windows and doors using hand and power tools.
Taking measurements for new fittings and making any changes needed to make the windows or doors fit properly.
Carrying out minor joinery and repairing the plasterwork.
Conditions
You will work in different locations, indoors and outside in all weathers.
You would work around 40 hours a week. You might have to work overtime to finish a job on time.
You will sometimes have to work at heights on ladders and scaffolding.
You will lift heavy window units and glass.
You might wear protective clothing, such as hard hat, safety footwear and gloves.
What we are looking for?
• Previous substantial experience in a similar role as Window Fitter or installing curtain wall systems or a joiner /plasterer may also be considered.
• A driving licence is useful and often essential.
• You must hold a Construction Certification to work on a building site.
