We’re seeking a Sales Executive to join a growing commercial team, focused on selling innovative solutions into the Local Government sector across the UK and ROI. This is a high-impact role with excellent autonomy and the support of an experienced Public Sector team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new leads through proactive outreach and lead generation

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities

  • Engage with clients through calls, emails, online meetings, and in-person visits

  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs and challenges

  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations (online and in-person)

  • Act as a product champion – understanding and communicating the full solution value

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms

  • Maintain regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and performance

  • Collaborate closely with the wider public sector sales and delivery teams

  • Foster strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients

  • Consistently meet or exceed personal and team sales targets

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven track record in new business sales (ideally within the Local Government sector)

  • Strong experience in a customer-facing role with a consultative sales approach

  • Confident delivering interactive presentations and solution demos

  • A background in selling IT services or technology solutions

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Experience compiling prospect lists and identifying new routes to market

  • High levels of resilience, self-motivation, and goal orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Third-level degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Prior experience selling into public sector or government frameworks is a bonus

  • Understanding of procurement processes in the public sector is highly desirable
