An established manufacturing company based in Co. Cavan is seeking a motivated and proactive QEHS Officer to join its growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a “can-do” attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the enthusiasm to make a real impact in a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) support across operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and customer requirements.
Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement strategies on site.
Ensure all manufactured products meet brand, customer, and safety standards.
Lead, coach, and develop individuals, supporting audits and maintaining site accreditations.
Foster a strong health, safety, and environmental culture throughout the organisation.
Participate in regular safety and quality meetings and contribute to improvement initiatives.
Work closely with Production and Technical teams to maintain quality performance and reporting.
Manage customer product complaints and ensure effective, timely resolutions.
Develop and maintain quality procedures, monitor performance, and produce relevant reports.
Identify and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness across teams.
Essential Requirements
Degree-level qualification in Health & Safety and Environmental disciplines.
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in QEHS within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strong initiative and a proactive approach to building a positive QEHS culture.
