The Vehicle Banksman, also referred to as Traffic Marshals, on a construction site is in charge of directing the movement of large vehicles, particularly large cranes during loading and unloading. Acting as the eyes and ears of the crane or truck driver, the Vehicle Banksman ensures any manoeuvres are made safely and efficiently. They are often responsible for duties including directing traffic in and around the site.
