A Streetworks Operative is required on site at all times to carry out a range of tasks including breaking up or tunnelling under a street to access to sewers and drains and locate underground apparatus. Often tasked with excavating the highway, a Streetworks Operative must also be able to reinstate the construction layers of the road and concrete footways after works have been carried out.
