SLG Operatives must possess an understanding of the safety implications of carrying out streetworks, with a particular focus on the protection of those engaged in the works as well as that of the general public whom it may affect. They need to be able to recognise any conditions that may require special measures such as the installations of temporary traffic lights, traffic diversions or closed roads.
