A Signaller on a construction site acts as the eyes and ears of vehicle drivers and plant operators, communicating and instructing verbally or via pre-arranged hand signals. They are responsible for directing the movement of vehicles on site, as well as recommending and laying out safe on site traffic systems. Signallers must have an understanding of risks and how to manage these effectively to ensure the site remains a safe place to work at all times.
