It's the responsibility of the Plumber to install, maintain and repair pipes and fixtures on both residential and commercial construction projects. Plumbers need to be able to interpret blueprints and building specifications to map pipe layout, install the supports for the pipes, assemble the appropriate fittings and valves and modify the pipes and fixtures before they are installed. There's also a requirement for Plumbers to test the systems post-installation to ensure there are no leaks or other problems that may arise.
