Our client is a market leading retailer who offer a host of quality products and a first class customer shopping experience. This grocery store has a very established brand. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and commercially savvy Retail Professional to further augment their career within a rewarding, challenging and autonomous environment. They are seeking a high calibre, self-motivated Manager for their Grocery store.
What you will be doing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a busy grocery store with full Profit and Loss accountability.
Ability to carry out the company’s business objectives and strive to achieve targeted results.
To have a strong work ethic always striving to be the best.
Ability to lead, manage and inspire a team when on duty.
Commitment to the organisation with full ownership of the store, with responsibility for cash, stock control, waste, profit margins, employee development, recruitment and customer care.
The determination and self-confidence to drive sales and productivity.
Knowledge of the retail grocery industry and current trends preferred.
Strong organisational skills and excellent communication and people management skills.
Good understanding of weekly financial reports with an ability to develop, measure and deliver key performance indicators (KPI’s).
What we are looking for.
A candidate with a background in retail management (IDEALLY Grocery), excellent organisational and leadership skills, and the ability to drive performance through team engagement/leadership and operational oversight.
Package
• Salary Band: Depending on experience & qualifications.
• Full-time, 39 hours per week
• Location: West Donegal
