They specialise in Personal Injury*, Conveyancing (residential and commercial), Data Protection, Wills & Probate, Insolvency Law, Property Law, Litigation, Medical Negligence and Immigration. They are renowned for delivering high quality advice to achieve the best outcomes for people across Ireland every day. To further augment their team of professionals they wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Solicitor – Immigration.
We advise national and international clients on private and commercial immigration
matters. Your role will be challenging and interesting and you will work alongside outstanding colleagues on substantive projects that include both international and local matters as well as benefit from a culture receptive to new ideas and innovation
THE ROLE – WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform substantive and client facing work.
- Taking clients instructions, preparing and reviewing application forms.
- Overseeing the management of case matters for allocated clients.
- Take full responsibility for running own immigration matters from start to finish with processing support.
- Ensuring that billing on cases is prompt
- Ensuring Case Management Systems are kept up to date and reflect case progress in real time
- Raising any case concerns directly with the Immigration Manager
- Ongoing development in respect of immigration and mobility policies.
- Working directly with our clients and supporting our CX Strategy with opportunities to develop your experience and skill set.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years PQE
- Qualified and experienced within the jurisdiction of ROI
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of Irish Immigration Law required
- Experience in taking client instructions
- Experience in liaising with relevant government departments
- Previous experience in a corporate environment preferred
- Strong academic background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – demonstrates awareness
- Strong attention to detail
- Critical thinking and solution driven approach to challenges
- Must have customer facing experience
- Must be able to work efficiently to deadlines
