Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the short- and long-term planning and management of the bar operations in both front and back of house.
- Direct and oversee the development of employees
- Implement and maintain food and beverage sales and marketing programmes
- Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Resolve guest complaints as appropriate and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction at all times
- Manage the recruitment of the bar, ensure appropriate training is carried out and be responsible for departmental appraisals and performance reviews
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the hotel's rooms division, including front office, housekeeping, and guest services.
- Ensure seamless and personalized guest experiences through effective coordination of daily operations.
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and exceptional service.
- Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort in the bar at all times
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- A Degree in Hospitality Management is preferrable
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage within the luxury hotel industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- A talented Mixologist
