As a result of the thriving Hampshire Construction Industry we currently require Traffic Management (12AB and 12D) Operatives with an immediate start
Requirements
- Hold a 12 A / B or 12D qualification (fully carded)
- Have the ability to pass a safety critical worker medical
- Hold a full driving licence
- CSCS Card
- Work Well as a team
- Be punctual and reliable
- Due to the nature of the work, you will need to pass a Drug & Alcohol test before starting work and be happy to do random checks as required
Duties
As a Traffic Management Operative, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management. You will deploy cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on both high and low speed roads.
General hours of work are 48 hours a week for 12ab and 40 hours a week for 12d works. However, due to the nature of the industry the hours are not always sociable. Therefore, you could be required to work evenings, nights or weekends. Overtime is not guaranteed however you will be required to work overtime as necessary. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.
You will be able to follow instructions as directed but you will also be able to use your own initiative when necessary. You will be in good fitness and health as the job can sometimes be very physically demanding.
