Job Duties
A Steel Fixer will install and tie together the steel bars and mesh used to strengthen concrete during construction. The main duties of a Steel Fixer are: Setting out the work area, following engineering plans. Using hand and power tools to cut and bend bars or mesh.
Requirements
- Previous experience is essential
- Must have the ability to communicate at all level
- Must be punctual and hard working.
Applicants must have:
- NVQ L2 Steel fixing
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- Working Visa (If Required)
- Must be hard working and driven
