Key Duties/Responsibilities:
TIG welding of stainless steel to high tolerances within the allocated budget hours;
Assembly of product within the allocated budget hours;
Interpreting 3D SolidWorks drawings;
Conducting personal quality checks to ensure product meets with company & customer specification & expectation;
Skilled operation of fabrication hand tools (welder/drill/grinder) to ensure a high quality finish is achieved;
Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is safe & tidy at all times;
Shift from fabrication to final assembly as and when required to ensure schedule adherence
Assisting in site installations at Customer premises;
Liaising with support Departments to achieve operational efficiency.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
Must be proficient at TIG welding;
Must be proficient in the operation of fabrication hand tools (welder/drill/grinder);
Ability to read 3D SolidWorks drawings essential;
Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities & circumstances;
Strong communication skills;
Awareness of budgets and the impact of breaching same;
Must be able to work well on your own or as part of a team using your own initiative and solve problems as they arise;
Must be highly motivated and flexible with a 'can do' attitude;
A good eye with a high attention to detail;
FLT experience an advantage;
Safe Pass ticket;
Manual Handling ticket;
Abrasive Wheel ticket;
Previous experience in the food industry an advantage.
What is on offer:
