Spray Painter (Evening Shift), Ref. VAC-12624
Full-time Perm Contract – 40 hours PW
Negotiable salary DOE
This employer is a long established global leader in their sector and supply to the crushing and screening, recycling industries (to name a few).
Due to continued success and growth they are now hiring across a range of departments and we are excited to be assisting them in their search for the right new team members.
To apply a protective coating to component parts in line with production requirements.
Key Functions: (include but may not be limited to):
To prepare component parts for protective coating according to the paint schedule;
To apply protective coating to the component, to the required quality standard to meet customer requirements;
To handle, transport and store component parts as per training and instruction;
To maintain work equipment and a safe and well organised workstation;
To complete daily safety checks to ensure work equipment is in good working order and submit all necessary check sheets as required;
To follow instructions provided by supervisor;
To work in accordance with relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work, as per Health & Safety training and instruction;
To comply with company policies and procedures;
To be flexible with work hours, depending on production requirements;
Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed with the General Manager / Supervisor.
An ideal candidate will have a good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent and previous spray painting experience (minimum of 1 year) and a good knowledge of paint systems and mixing techniques.
Preference will be shown to applicants with a valid Forklift Truck licence and those who have experience of operational use of Crane, Air & Hand Tools,
Work hours are Mon to Thurs 3:00pm – 11:45pm and Fri 12noon – 6:00pm (40xhrs per week).
