Overview of the Fit Out Foreman:
Our client, who are one of the leading Main Contractors in the UK & Ireland are currently looking for a Fit Out Foreman, to join them on a project in the London area. The project is being delivered which comprises of detailed planning permission for Phase 1, which is near completion, to provide 84 residential units, in a 5 and 6 storey building. Each plot with associated car parking, cycle parking, public realm, plant and other relevant works. The associated works include access roads, enabling, infrastructure, sewer systems and landscaping.
To be successful, you’ll need to have strong experience in internal Fit Out, Cat A – Cat B on projects, of a similar level. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating and overseeing the operatives on site. Ensuring that work is delivered safely on time and to high standard finish. Looking for a Fit Out Foreman who is motivated, good interpersonal skills and extremely organised. Being able to report into senior management, to relay progress on the project and the responsibilities you have taken on.
Your key duties as Fit Out Foreman:
✔ Use your experience of supporting residential and commercial build construction programmes / management and to deliver the project on time and in budget.
✔ Ensuring quality at every stage
✔ Monitor and control on material levels
✔ Co-ordinate labour and trades
✔ Benefit from a proactive site team who will actively support your career advancement
✔ Work closely with the sales team to deliver excellent customer relations
Key experiences you should have as Fit Out Foreman:
✔ Solid work history of delivering the commercial projects for ideally previous Contractors
✔ Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team
✔ Developing knowledge of the housebuilding construction process
✔ Be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects
✔ Great customer service skills and the ability to deliver on new homeowners’ expectations
