Salary: £40-45,000 plus benefits
Job Description
Our client is a large property development and management company with a broad portfolio of award-winning international projects. They have built an enviable reputation for acquiring dilapidated buildings across the UK & Ireland, undertaking large scale refurbishment conversions into high specification residential and mixed tenure developments. Their wholly owned construction business is working on the refurbishment and conversion of a landmark Grade II listed waterfront building in the heart of Merseyside’s historic docks.
We’re looking for a Site Manager with previous experience of conversion and refurbishments to undertake the following:
Responsibilities:
Maintaining quality control procedures
Ensuring site safety by making safety inspections
Preparing and /or checking RAMS
Problem solving
Sourcing materials
Checking and preparing reports
Monitoring progress of the project
Liaising with clients or the client’s representatives to update on progress
Keeping staff motivated and focussed
Required Skills
Commercial awareness
Advanced knowledge of health and safety procedures
Problem solving
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
Being able to works as part of a team
Strong IT skills
Highly organised
Knowledge of construction processes
Strong written skills
