Job Description: Site Engineer
Location: Coventry, UK
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Setting/Site Engineer to work on an ongoing project in Coventry for a highly renowned build and construction main contractor. As a site engineer as you will be an integral part of an on-site management team tasked with delivering a quality project, on budget, safely and on time.
Responsibilities as Site Engineer include:
• Setting Out & Surveying
• Maintaining line and level control
• Measurements and calculations
•Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents
• Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers
• QA where required
• Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience of setting out £5M+ structures
- Previous experience of calling off reinforcement and ability to read reinforcement drawings
- Operational knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations
- CSCS Card
- First Aid
- HND or equivalent
