Quantity Surveyor Admin Assistant
Based in North Dublin, this is a long term contract position. Our Client a blue chip company requires an administrative assistant to work alongside the quantity surveying team. The successful candidate will have a flexible and committed
approach to a wide range of duties. Daily tasks are identified below, but not limited to in assisting the Team of Quantity Surveyors in:
- Forecasted Cost Planning
- Estimating
- Contracts negotiation
- Procurement advice
- Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Monitoring Budget
- Preparation of Payment Invoice and certification (AfP)
- Assessment and tracking of variations
- Acquiring approval to proceed on variations
- Dispute resolution
- Claims Tracking and negotiation
- Preparing feasibility studies
- Cost control
- Value engineering
- Advice on cost limits and budgets
- Whole life cycle costing
- Valuation for insurance purposes
- Project management
- Validating hours claimed for by suppliers
- Tracking Construction Manager Instructions (CMI’s)
You will be interacting with various employees including the finance team, managers on the contract and client representatives.
