Setting Out Engineer- Southampton
3D Personnel are currently recruiting for a Freelance Setting Out Engineer across Southampton and Surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for setting out works on a variety of upcoming projects, across Hampshire ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest standard and on schedule.
These projects will include setting out on Infrastructure, Groundworks, Civils Works, Housing & Commercial projects.
Experience required:
- Experience in the relevant sectors Competent in setting out.
- Ensure quality of the works and keep QA records etc
- Programming and planning the upcoming works
- Liasing with the wider site team and sub-contractors in delivering works
- Attend weekly progress meetings
- Good word and excel skills.
- Competent with CAD.
- Liaise with client and sub-contractors.
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card
- A degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction management (or equivalent) •
- Previous experience working on build projects
- SMSTS (Proffered not essential)
- Good communication skills and able to work as part of a larger team
