Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil)

3D Personnel are actively working alongside a well-recognised Irish main contractor. Due to continued expansion, they are actively hiring an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Cork office working on various large-scale Civil Engineering projects in the Monster region.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure effective delivery of all the commercial requirements of the project..
- Responsible for controlling costs and ensuring budgets are achieved.
- Provide accurate and informed reporting of the commercial performance of the project.
- Managing the preparation and evaluation of subcontract packages and assist in the preparation of interim and final valuations.
- Assist the Senior Contract Surveyor to coach and motivate surveyors on the project.
Specific Requirements:
- Relevant Third level Construction related Degree or Equivalent.
- 7+ years’ experience preferably with a recognised main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
- Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Excellent IT skills.
