We are working again with our client who owns a group of companies in Derry including a successful real estate agency. They are now in the position to offer an employment opportunity to a Senior Property Portfolio Manager to join their very successful team.

Role Profile/Duties
This employer are now offering an opportunity for a Senior Property Portfolio Manager to lead and manage a privately-owned property portfolio comprising of a mixture of residential and commercial property, including new commercial developments.
Reporting to Group Directors, the ideal candidate will be responsible for a strategic view of the property portfolio against business objectives and taking responsibility for implementing this strategy.
Our portfolio is diverse, and will require a candidate to demonstrate proven experience of portfolio management within NI, ROI and UK as an essential requirement.

Role Responsibilities include
The role will be accountable for all portfolio operations including:
Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of an asset and portfolio strategy to ensure portfolio performance through asset allocation and risk management;
Develops, manages and reviews the implementation of a maintenance strategy for the portfolio;
Develop a strategic leasing strategy, ensuring the accuracy of all leases for properties within the portfolio, and that obligations are met in line with current legislation;
Undertake procurement and management of relevant services required to run a functional property portfolio;
Evaluate practice and procedure in portfolio management, developing plans for continuous improvement;
Management of day-to-day relationships with all stakeholders;
Monitoring portfolio occupancy, performance management and financial forecasting in line with business plans;
Ensuring accurate KPI and management information is collated and analysed for management reporting, including detailed financial and operational performance data;
Build and develop professional internal and external interaction;
Working closely with Asset Management, Investment and other key departments;
Provide leadership and line management support to direct reports in the delivery of their responsibilities;

Essential Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in property portfolio management within both residential and commercial property, gained across NI, ROI and UK;
Demonstrable track record of improving portfolio performance;
Proven experience in drafting lease agreements and lease document management;
Proven capability to manage stakeholders at all levels;
Demonstrable knowledge of residential and commercial property markets in all jurisdictions;
Demonstrable knowledge of relevant local and national statutory legislation;
Third level, or equivalent, qualification in Property Management or relevant discipline may be an advantage.
