Vacancy: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
3D Personnel currently have the opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work with well-established housing developer based in Central London.
Project:
Our client has just secured a £130 Million scheme located in the heart of London. This scheme will be made up of 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom apartments, penthouses.
This development will also include luxurious leisure facilities with a pool, spa, gym and cinema.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor reporting into them & will have a range of roles & responsibilities including;
- Manage all costs relating to the projects, from the initial calculations to the figures on completion of the scheme
- Planning the project cost effectively, while still achieving the required standards and quality
- Prepare & monitor the projects cash flow forecasts
- Draft contracts and assist in the process to apply appropriate risk/liabilities, often drawn from the Head Contract
- Provide a Weekly report (Progress and Contract) to the Line Manager
Requirements:
The right candidate will be located in London or will be willing to travel to Central London on a daily basis. You would have managed your own schemes at similar value for a national or large regional contractor / developer.
