We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor involved in a prestigious £30m healthcare project in Winchester.
This freelance position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to both new build and refurbishment aspects of the project.
You will be joining a prominent player in the construction industry, specialising in large-scale projects across various sectors who are known for their commitment to excellence and innovation in construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement of subcontractor packages to ensure project timelines and budgetary requirements are met.
- Working closely with the commercial production team to monitor and manage costs effectively.
- Site-based role, involving day-to-day management and oversight of commercial aspects on site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
- Experience with large main contractors
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.

To achieve the upper end pay band the ideal candidate would need to have strong cut and carve experience.
