Vacancy: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cavan
Salary: €40k - €60 Negotiable, depending upon experience.
3DPersonnel’s client is one of Irelands leading Renewable and Insulation contractors who have grown and developed over the years to become leaders in the sector.
Our Client has a range of projects including contracts on new builds, fit out and refurbishments in Commercial, Residential, Hospitality and Healthcare sectors as well as some more complex design and build projects.
3D Personnel’s client are currently looking to fill the role of Estimator in Cavan, this can be someone with 1- 5yrs experience who can grow with the department or someone with 5yrs+ experience who can take a broader role.
Your role as Quantity Surveyor:
- Commercial management of a number of projects
- Preparing and negotiating tenders
- Preparation of Bills of Quantities
- Monthly CVR’s
- Quarterly cost to completions reports
- Procurement and management of Sub- Contractor accounts
- Managing material costs and project timeframes
- Contract negotiation, management and administration of various contract forms
- Regular interfacing with clients and design teams, value engineering, prepared and managed contractual claims.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- QS, Civil Engineering or Construction related degree essential
- Excellent time management skills and must be able to complete projects before deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced IT skills.
