Vacancy: Project Manager/Senior Site Manager

Location: Dublin

Salary: €100K - €120K  DOE + package

 

3D Personnel has a great opportunity for a Project Manager/Senior Site Manager to join a leading Irish building contractor on a large scale residential project in Dublin area.

The successful individual will be reporting directly to a company Director and will have worked on similar projects within main contractors/developers in Ireland/UK for at least 7 years consecutively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivery of Building projects - both pre and post contract award.
  • Responsible for the management of direct labour and sub-contractor packages as part of the project team
  • Organise and lead regular site progress meetings with sub-contractors and design teams to monitor progress and record and update detailed progress reports
  • Manage the day to day operation of the complete project from start to handover, reporting directly to company Director
  • Project management from inception to completion including managing clients, design teams and contractors
  • Representing clients throughout the full life cycle of projects
  • Managing the preparation of feasibility studies, option appraisals, cost plans and business cases
  • Ensuring project financial performance and delivering within budget
  • Procurement including preparation of contract documents, drawings and specifications
  • Construction stage project management, monitoring progress against programme, assessing costs for works completed and ensuring quality
  • Ensuring contracts are administered correctly
  • Risk management
  • Working to meet Health and Safety and overall project quality objectives
  • Seeking out potential business development opportunities or leads and either follow through or inform senior management

 

Skills:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a management role with main contractor/developer on the large high spec projects that demanded an excellent quality high class finish
  • Have a proven track record of seeing projects through to their successful completion
  • Experience of residential developments or multi storey buildings
  • A clear understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
  • The person should have strong sense of responsibility towards work
  • The person should be a great communicator and should have the skills both verbally and written
