Overview of the Project Manager:
One of my clients are seeking a Project Manager. They are one of the UKs leading, Residential Contractor, huge experience in developing, building and managing residential schemes. They have a number of projects in the London area with over 5,000 homes to deliver. The project you will help oversee will be 61 new homes, with an occupied residents in surrounding flats to regenerate. It will be running for another year as they are halfway through, with a project value of £42 million.
To be successful you’ll need to have experience in Project Management on residential projects. You’ll be responsible for Managing all work on the envelope; taking the job from where it is now, to completion. Looking for a Project Manager who is motivated, lead by example, work in a fantastic team environment and be technically proficient. Someone who is going to take the reins and work closely with the team to deliver a high standard.
Your key duties as Project Manager:
✔ Use your experience of supporting residential build construction programmes / management and to deliver the project on time and in budget.
✔ Ensuring quality at every stage
✔ Monitor and control on material levels
✔ Co-ordinate labour and trades
✔ Benefit from a proactive site team who will actively support your career advancement
✔ Work closely with the senior management to deliver excellent customer relations
Key experiences you should have as Project Manager:
✔ Solid work history of delivering the residential projects for ideally previous Contractors
✔ Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team
✔ Developing knowledge of the housebuilding construction process
✔ Be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects
✔ Great customer service skills and the ability to deliver on new homeowners’ expectations
