3D Personnel are actively working alongside a well-recognised contractor based in Galway. Our client specialises in a broad range of projects including the construction of a number of residential and commercial developments, public works including schools, refurbishment of existing buildings and the renovation of landmark buildings containing protected structures. They are currently in the market for an experienced Project Manager to join their Mid-West based team on a permanent basis working on projects in locations such as Galway, Shannon and Athlone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for Health & Safety on site.
- Preparation of detailed construction management plan.
- Responsible for the completion of the project in accordance with agreed programme and budget.
- Overseeing and organising the various work streams to ensure a successful project delivery
- Manage the relationships with design team, subcontractors and utilities for the duration of the project.
- Carry out weekly meetings with subcontractors to review progress, quality and programme future works, minute and circulate minutes of the meetings.
- Reporting all design team issues and changes to the Construction Director and project Quantity Surveyor.
- Promote and maintain good and professional relations with all parties to the contract, adjoining owners, neighbours, sub-contractors and representatives from local authorities.
- Work closely internally with the commercial department, finance department and technical department
Requirements Include:
- Ideal candidate will be a degree qualified professional in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
- Will have previous main contractor experience working in a Project Management role for 5+ years on similar Residential projects and must have working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
