Job Profile:
Project Manager (EMS)
Reporting to the Divisional Manager, this position provides an excellent opportunity to enhance professional growth and development. The main remit of the role will encompass the following duties:
Management of Projects from inception to on-site commissioning and client hand over
Define the scope of projects in collaboration with senior management
Creation of a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete projects
Monitor progress of projects whilst making any adjustments necessary to meet changing needs and requirements
Manage day-to-day operational aspects on multiple projects
Identify resources and assign responsibilities for the development of detailed software code for automation, control and energy management data acquisition applications
Ensure that projects are completed to strict budgets and that all variations are kept up to date
Reporting regularly on progress to senior managers and the client
Ensure project documentation is completed against strict timeframes
Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
Essential Criteria
Relevant experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
Be efficiently organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
Desirable Criteria
HND or BSC in Electrical Engineering/Computing with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
Strong background across a range of hardware and software PLC systems
