Our client:
Our client is a rapidly expanding and innovative organisation with several sites across the U.K. and Ireland the organisation has recently experienced an unprecedented surge in demand for their products and services. As a result of this growth, they wish to appoint a technically savvy Project Manager.
The Role:
The Project Manager takes responsibility for the project’s success. The role involves creating and tracking quality project plans and managing the team’s time to deliver the project to the agreed timescales.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Defining the scope and goals for individual projects.
Planning and scheduling project timelines.
Creating quality, realistic project plans for each application development release.
Managing the day-to-day activities of the Application Developers to track the plans and deliver
Liaising with the test manager to test and provide Quality Assurance for each release.
Applying the appropriate project management measurements
Manage project Issues and Risks.
Managing project administration, including all documentation.
Meeting budgetary objectives.
Reporting regularly to senior management.
Experience and Qualifications
What We Are Looking for:
Qualifications/Skills:
Strong experience in all aspects of Project Management.
Experience of setting up an Application Development Project.
Experience of team leading and project tracking.
Experience of being a key part of a management team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
Three to five years of experience in Project Management along with associated Project Management
Qualifications:
Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments and database technologies
