This brand-new role offers a perfect opportunity for a seasoned and ambitious business growth or sales specialist to showcase their ability - to formulate solid customer-accounts, drive sales and maintain customer relationships. The person will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new customers for our very first product – Compliance, within an assigned territory.
The Outside Sales Executive is the front-line ambassador for customers, helping them succeed by becoming their business savvy consultant, analysing, and anticipating their needs, then recommending and providing solutions. You will understand market conditions, competitors, and demographics. Most importantly, you will go above-and-beyond by spotting opportunities for customers before they do - because helping them succeed is your recipe to success.

Develop an in-depth knowledge of our product offerings including their representative markets and product attributes.
Develop and execute a strategy for developing business and maximising existing client relationships to drive new sales opportunities.
Achieve growth and profitability targets by maximising face time with prospective new clients.
Create and execute territory plans for increasing sales and growing our position across the fire and life safety market segment.
Develop an in-depth expertise of all product offerings including respective markets and product attributes.
Work independently and with company business development resources to develop and execute prospecting strategies to identify, qualify and close new business.
Gather competitive insight, including pricing, delivery, and performance information, and share such intelligence with internal departments as applicable.
Demonstrates an understanding of the client’s business and highlight appropriate product features and benefits that can address the client’s requirements.
Actively listens to the client’s needs and requirements to better qualify the deal and uncover new opportunities.
Identify and implement appropriate methods for reaching potential clients with specific focus on the built environment and new business.
Uses company CRM software to log sales calls, maintain prospect and current client information and track opportunities in the sales pipeline.
Conducts presentations to educate existing and potential clients, end users, and others of our product capabilities and services.
Pitch, demo and win new business for the client’s bespoke application
Builds and maintains relationships with new and existing customers, and other key relationships via personal meetings, telephone, and e-mail.
Actively participates in trade show, sales exhibitions and promotions as required.
Remains alert for potential sales opportunities with new or modified products; recommend new products to add to our product offering portfolio.
A level 7 in Business or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 5 years recent business growth or sales or experience, within a B2B environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
A minimum of 8 years recent business growth or sales or experience, within a B2B environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Previous recent experience of selling software or hardware technologies in the built environment – preferably in the Fire & Life Safety Solution Space*.
Experience of managing the full Sales cycles from lead generation to closing the deal.
High success rate of working winning, successful tenders and project proposals
Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with all levels of internal and external clients.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, but also self-disciplined with initiative to work independently.
Exceptional organisational skills - high attention to detail + high level of accuracy
