Maternity Cover (6 months+)
Hours 30-40 per week (negotiable)

We are working with a market leading retailer West based in Donegal who offer a host of quality products and a first class customer experience.
This business has a very established clientele and employ only the best staff.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role and possess excellent administrative skills.

Job Profile:
Your role will include but not limited to:
Coordination of the entire cash reconciliation process across the stores.
Reconciling daily takings to bank and cash deposits, processing bank statements into system and posting of journals to the nominal ledger.
Dealing with cash variance queries and liaising with Department Managers, Bank and Merchant card companies etc.
Ensure daily cash balances are reconciled completely and accurately on time.
Processing of various cash reconciliation reports and summaries required by Head of Finance and Department Managers.
Support accounting duties of sales ledger postings, cash book and nominal ledger postings, and account reconciliations for all of the aforementioned.
General office duties of processing cash receipts, petty cash management, answering phones and dealing with customers along with any other necessary office duties

Experience/Qualifications/Requirements/Key Skills Required:
Previous relevant experience and the ability to work on own initiative whilst also able to take direction and instruction from other colleagues and team members.
Ability to multi task and work to a very high standard, efficiently and effectively.
Work at a high level of intensity while managing their own workload and assisting others.
Fluent & Articulate English Speaker. Conversational Irish would be preferred but not essential.
Excellent telephone manner with clear and precise communication skills.
Proficient working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office package.
