Market Development Manager (Sales/Marketing) - UK, Ireland, European and International markets

Our client is a leading Donegal manufacturer with a fine heritage of producing high end Irish Textiles who wish to develop their at home and export market across UK, Ireland and Europe. They are a perfect balance between modern, innovative design and traditional craft.
They require a Sales and Marketing Manager for their Donegal site who directly manage this function both directly and indirectly via existing Sales team.
Duties:
Manage the operation of the sales team/agents to ensure profitability and excellent customer service;
Manage performance of sales staff/agents in order to ensure business objectives and sales targets are met;
Drive sales opportunities and grow revenues;
Use social and digital media to promote the Company’s brands;
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
What we are looking for:
The selected person will have at least 2+ years’ experience in Sales and Marketing and preference will be given to those with experience of selling textile products into the UK and Ireland markets;
You should have experience of managing a team and meeting sales targets;
Demonstrable ability to work in a fast paced and commercial environment;
Working Knowledge of current social media platforms;
Strong commercial acumen and innovative with new sales techniques;
Excellent written and communication skills;
Experience working with Microsoft Office Adobe Creative Suite;
Highly organised, self-driven and the ability to work on own initiative;
Must be flexible and able to travel and hold a full clean driving license.
You should be highly self-motivated and self-disciplined, Smart and professional with strong influencing and people skills;
It is important you can show you are target focused, organised and reliable;
Applications/expressions of interest can/will only be accepted from those living within a reasonable commutable distance of the place of work (South Donegal) or those genuinely willing and able to relocate. You should also be able to commit to travelling and staying away from home (UK & Europe) as and when required.
